On the heels of its Pacific Northwest tour, LED is thrilled to be back in its hometown, bringing its jaw-dropping brand of physicality and theatrics to create a world of immersive storytelling and intrigue. Described as "a creative triumph," Kid Lightning is a wild journey into a 1970s stylized world of game show competition. Using contemporary dance, original music, and stunning visuals, it tells a story ultimately rooted in our shared humanity. Each contestant enters the intoxicating arena of celebrity and pushes their physical limits, only to discover it is more than they bargained for. Who will be crowned the next Kid Lightning, and who will be left in its wake? 

Recently named by Dance Magazine as one of the "25 to Watch" for 2020 and described by the Seattle Times as "a feat of pyrotechnics," LED's performances have wowed sold-out audiences across the country. Their unique approach to art making is helping put Boise on the map as a cultural hub.
