Experience the beauty and drama of Mascagni’s “Intermezzo” from Cavalleria Rusticana and the haunting intensity of Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony, Op. 110a (arrangement of his String Quartet No. 8 in C minor, Op. 110, completed by Russian conductor and violist Rudolf Barshai in 1960), the passionate elegance of Vivaldi’s Cello Concerto in A minor, RV. 419 featuring Boise State professor and cellist Dr. Brian Hodges and the poignant serenity of Barber’s “Adagio for Strings.”
