Mission

As Idaho's Home for the Arts, we create lifetime memories and impactful shared experiences by:

  • Presenting touring Broadway, arts entertainment, and local events.
  • Enriching the community through arts education and engagement programs.
  • Stewardship of an innovative performing arts center on the campus of Boise State University.

Guiding Practices

The Morrison Center team believes in the following practices for how we work together and ensure the Morrison Center is a welcoming and inclusive place.

  • We create a space where everyone feels included.
  • We use our skills and resources to make an impact in our community.
  • We serve artistic expression and champion the courage it takes to share it.
  • We commit to building an inclusive workplace.

Our dedication is to work inward and ensure our behaviors are not standing in the way of someone feeling welcome, included, and encouraged to contribute. We are committed to building a culture and team of unique backgrounds and life experiences to make us a stronger organization.

We want to be known as a place that values the well-being of all team members, guests, artists, and partners. A culture that ensures everyone can bring their full self to work and that their strengths are valued. Where you have an opportunity to do your best every day and are recognized for doing good work. Where you are cared for, encouraged, and can build relationships.

The Morrison Center and Boise State University are committed to increasing the diversity of its faculty, staff, students, and academic program offerings and to strengthening sensitivity to diversity throughout the institution. Boise State University is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer, and members of historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply. We are a welcoming campus that supports diversity and inclusion.
